It’s winter break, and I decided to download a trial of Photoshop CS4.

It’s bloody amazing and I don’t know how I lived without it.

I’ve made a few things, but mostly have been playing around with all the shiny new features and tools.  Today, I decided to make a new wallpaper for my phone.  I wanted to keep it simple but still make it appealing to the eye.  After messing with brushes and some very bright colors, I produced this:

FRACTAL in cyan

Which was followed by this:

I was in Borders today buying presents and saw this

But it gets better, because then I saw this which I’ve wanted for like two years

and right next to that was…

It was like too much win at once and I almost died of happiness.

And then my brother was all, “we have to pick out a CD for mom right now”

So I had to walk away from it

Whee! The little survey over at A Noodle in a Haystack has been floating around the classic film blogosphere lately, and it looked pretty fun. So I’m doing it here. :3 Read the rest of this entry »

In lieu of photoshop, I’ve taken up painting and drawing in my spare time. Granted, most of my paintings and drawings aren’t very good, but it’s nice to have a ~creative outlet~ .

I drew a rose, based on this photo. Of all my mediocre crap that reeks of no experience, it’s turned out to be the best thing. It was all a matter of shading~

But due to my dumb scanner, it doesn’t scan correctly (way overexposed) and I can’t post it. I tried to adjust it at LunaPic (ha, ha!) but nothing could save it. D:

However, I do have today a painting of my Shining Stars parrot, Parry Grant.

I just remembered that Morning Musume has been about 400 miles away from me for the past three days (as opposed to the normal 6000 or so). And I haven’t seen them perform.

And a really good photo of Gary Cooper is not saving to my hdd.

And, once more, I don’t have access to Paint Shop/Photoshop. It’s very bothersome. I should really download a trial and get more graphics on here because the theme of this blog is shifting, and I don’t want it to change….

And I’m not watching fireworks this evening because, well, to put it briefly, shit happens.

Here are my current obsessions.

She turns 93 today~~~

Dear Livi,

You are amazing! Hope you have a super birthday and enjoy many more happy years!

I couldn’t do a special graphic, so I made you these. \(^o^)/

P.S. – The fact that you were born in Japan makes you even more awesome.

A Notice

June 24, 2009

Hehe, not you…the person who killed my computer, more or less.

I won’t waste time with a long introduction; just cut to the chase: my computer is currently teeming with spyware. [I’m writing this from another (uninfected) computer at the moment.] Never fear, spyware can’t be transferred from one computer to the next via files and such like viruses are. You have to visit a website thats purpose is to install spyware, where it will then be installed. So you don’t have to worry about getting “infected” from chatoyancy.  All I’m trying to say is that I won’t be uploading anything for a while. At least I have a nearly-finished draft of my next post, which will be up shortly.

In the meantime, here’s Tallulah Bankhead and a mudkip. (No, it’s not really supposed to make sense. XD)

I hated to part with the old one, but there’s a new header for this blog.

That is all.

Hello, reader. This is my new blog where I’ll be posting my graphics. You probably were linked here from Amasugita Kajitsu, Pink Imoen, or Miss Vintage. If you just so happened to stumble upon this website, that’s great too.

For more information about the blog, take a look at the “About” page.

Thank you for stopping by the website.
