Gee, it sure is boring around here…
July 9, 2009

In lieu of photoshop, I’ve taken up painting and drawing in my spare time. Granted, most of my paintings and drawings aren’t very good, but it’s nice to have a ~creative outlet~ .
I drew a rose, based on this photo. Of all my mediocre crap that reeks of no experience, it’s turned out to be the best thing. It was all a matter of shading~
But due to my dumb scanner, it doesn’t scan correctly (way overexposed) and I can’t post it. I tried to adjust it at LunaPic (ha, ha!) but nothing could save it. D:
However, I do have today a painting of my Shining Stars parrot, Parry Grant.
Happy Independence Day!

Happy Birthday, Olivia!

She turns 93 today~~~

Dear Livi,
You are amazing! Hope you have a super birthday and enjoy many more happy years!
I couldn’t do a special graphic, so I made you these. \(^o^)/
♥
P.S. – The fact that you were born in Japan makes you even more awesome.

This isn’t really graphics. Well, I guess it’s sort of a cropping exercise.

A Notice

Hehe, not you…the person who killed my computer, more or less.
I won’t waste time with a long introduction; just cut to the chase: my computer is currently teeming with spyware. [I'm writing this from another (uninfected) computer at the moment.] Never fear, spyware can’t be transferred from one computer to the next via files and such like viruses are. You have to visit a website thats purpose is to install spyware, where it will then be installed. So you don’t have to worry about getting “infected” from chatoyancy. All I’m trying to say is that I won’t be uploading anything for a while. At least I have a nearly-finished draft of my next post, which will be up shortly.
In the meantime, here’s Tallulah Bankhead and a mudkip. (No, it’s not really supposed to make sense. XD)

It’s not RPF if it actually happened

More shipping! And a speshul added bonus this time – a ship reference in the picture. ;D
(CLICK THE THUMBNAIL. But you probably know to do that by now.)
At first, I didn’t want to add the geranium, thinking that the image was simple and fine as-is. (Or shall I say, “as-was.”) But I didn’t feel like I had put enough originality into it. Lo and behold, a big pink flower entered the picture.
I’m not sure whether I ship Clark and Carole or Clark and Joan more. I like them both. I think Clark and Carole since…I’m not sure, they just fit together. Like peas and carrots, as Forrest Gump would say. ^^ They just seem so playful and fun together. ♥ I don’t think I’ve seen a picture of those two together where they don’t seem radiating with happiness and energy yet. It’s as if they weren’t just lovers, but best friends. ^^~ (Except the stills and promotional pics from No Man of Her Own… but those don’t count! It was all the way in ‘32! XD)
But Clark and Joan are more…I’m not quite sure how to put it, dramatic…you know? And by that I don’t mean they weren’t happy together…they just seem more romantic.
There’s a different aura between the two couples~ ✰

Not totally happy with the turnout of this one. Not happy at all with the turnout of this one. The only thing I like is the colors. >_<
But I wanted to do something vector pop art, and I wanted to do something with my latest ship – Jimmy and Ginger! Aren’t they just adorable? Here’s a pic…

Oh the little cutie pies! I wuf my widdle snookie wookums! Who’s the cutest, sweetest, fluffiest (lolwut?) couple? Jimmy and Ginger are, my widdle pumpkin pies! Yesh, the best actor and actress of 1940 are the cutest!
:3
*ahem*
But you’ve got to love her face in that second pic.
Yes.
^______^
I have to see “Vivacious Lady.” Soon!

The best part of graphics making is when you get an idea in your head and set out to make it real. That way you have a goal, and the final piece is finished faster. It also looks better than when you don’t know what you’re aiming for. Do you agree? I know that’s how I feel when I work. It was the case in this image.
I’m on a 30s movie kick right now. What are your favorite films of the 1930s?
…ooh, look at all the tags! :P
