…is what that character to the left of Mr. Akanishi says.
The picture used here is, in my humble opinion, the most attractive of July 2007’s Popeye feature on Jin. He’s not drinking, he’s not smoking, and his hair looks normal. ![]()
I do not know what to call this.

I was inspired by a header on some website to make this. It had a very similar grey background, brushes on top of the background, and two pictures as the focus - one of which was framed. Now, my… random thing, for lack of better terms, is not as good as the header on the website. But hey, I’m just starting to use multiple pictures for one image.
It’s fun, actually. And some of those textures I never thought I’d use are beginning to come in useful. ![]()
Sweeter Than Peach Pie
October 8, 2008
Yum. Pie sounds pretty good right about now. Anyways…

I actually made this one a long time ago, but forgot to post it. Eeek.
As much as I love black-and-white, color images are better when it comes to graphics. Colors make images a lot more versatile. In this image, I used mostly soft, warm colors in the background, along with many sparkles and other shiny things. (The focus of the image is the same as the original, but what wonders the background can do for it.) Obviously, the light is green, but it still fits. ![]()
色合い
September 13, 2008
The pictures used here come from one of my favorite photo shoots of Maki’s, and my second-favorite photobook of hers. The title of this post means “hue” or “tint.”
I got the colors by using the color mixer. I hardly ever used the color mixer. No, wait - I don’t remember using the color mixer before now. but after making these, I think I’ll try it out more often.
On with the graphics…

^ That one was later changed into this:

Red -with- Stripes

*Ohnoez, it’s smaller in width than usual! :O
I love frames in pictures. Any pictures. They’re fine around the picture, but what about in the picture? It creates an interesting effect. When I saw that texture, it was a must-use. (Credit here.) I put it on the first image I figured would work. Add in some paint splatters, and voila, this happens.

A new header, how lovely.

I hated to part with the old one, but there’s a new header for this blog.
That is all.
Blue Bruins Paradise
July 25, 2008

Oh, why yes, I did make another Bette Davis picture! Thankfully, I did her some justice; this one turned out much better than the last one with her. Regardless, the person doesn’t matter. I’ll work with whatever looks interesting. I wanted to do something with putting lines around the focus of the picture, and tried the effect shown. The fact that I used blue and yellow were coincidental. They just so happened to look right. Once I was done, it looked like a poster you’d find at the UCLA Student Shop. (Well, that’s what the colors reminded me of.) Lo, it was given the title Blue Bruins Paradise.
Oh, and I listened to 80s music while making this instead of my usual Asian music. Yay? [I wasn't Rickrolled, if that makes it any more interesting.]

In a Dream
July 23, 2008
Like the last entry, I also made this one during an ~uninspired~ moment. The thing about the pictures like this is…I never know where I’m going with it. There’s nothing to expect or aim for.
This turned out better compared to the last one, though. I liked her dazed expression… maybe that’s why.
